MMS Mobile Mechanic is based in Okehampton. Being mobile we come to you at your home or workplace. All we need is space to work on your car, preferably not on the roadside, and space to get our van nearby.
As a rule we travel up to half an hours drive from Okehampton, taking in Hatherleigh, North Tawton, Sticklepath, Sampford Courtenay, Chagford and more. We have been known to travel further depending on the job involved.

MMS Mobile Mechanic services most types of vehicles including cars, SUVs, and vans. We also offer basic servicing on hybrid vehicles, but not currently covering EV's.
We recommend getting your vehicle serviced every 10,000 miles or every 12 months, whichever comes first. However, this may vary depending on your vehicle's make and model. Consult your owner's manual or drop us a message with your reg number and we can check for you.
We suggest alternating between a Full and an Interim, and if you have no record of your previous service then a Full service is a good starting point.
Each manufacturer has their own recommendations and there are variations within this for different engines. Typical intervals are between every 4-6 years and between 60,000 to 120,000 miles.
We have access to manufacturer specific technical data which includes vehicle specific timing belt intervals. If you drop us a message with your reg number we can let you know what the interval is for your vehicle.
No. Although we will do our best to help you out, especially regular customers, all of our work is booked in ahead of time and the diary is often full for between 3-4 weeks, this doesn't allow time for us to attend emergency breakdowns.
