About MMS

 MMS Mobile Mechanic is exactly what it says on the tin, or should I say van. It is something I've been wanting to do for several years and has finally been decided by a Covid related redundancy. Although this is a new venture, I have worked in various local garages around the Okehampton area since leaving school in 1993, including previously being a mobile mechanic for several years under the business name of "Mobile Motor Services". My current business name (MMS) is a nod to this previous name but hopefully making it a bit clearer what i do. I am fully qualified having carried out an apprenticeship and training at East Devon College. I have since completed further courses in car electrics, electronics, clutches etc. I enjoy a challenge and during my career I have been involved in breakdowns, restorations and diagnostics as well as general servicing and repairs, I have also served many years as an MOT tester. I have worked on a wide variety of vehicles from tractors to Porsche's and most things in between. I am fully insured and equipped to care for your vehicle and I look forward to meeting you and helping to keep you on the road, carrying out any necessary repairs. 

As the business goes from strength to strength I have recently expanded to become a limited company and have also reached the point where VAT registration is required.
