About MMS

 MMS Mobile Mechanic is exactly what it says on the tin, or should I say van. 

It is something I wanted to do for several years and was finally decided by a Covid related redundancy. I have been trading as MMS Mobile Mechanic since 2020. Previous to that I had worked in various local garages around the Okehampton area since leaving school in 1993.

 I enjoy a challenge and during my career I have been involved in breakdowns, restorations and diagnostics as well as general servicing and repairs, I have also previously served many years as an MOT tester. 

Having been trading for several years now the business has expanded to become a limited company and around the same time also reached the point where VAT registration is required.  we have been involved with training an apprentice and now have a part time office administrator. 

More recently I have taken the decision to streamline the business by specialising in servicing and more specifically timing belts, this is an aspect of the job that I have a lot of experience with and over the years have also amassed a lot of specialist, engine specific timing tools. My goal is to become the "go to" mechanic in the Okehampton area for timing belt replacements.
